Check Engine
This is a simple utility to run checks and report results.
It will run all checks in it’s directory (/etc/config/checks by default) every 5 seconds. If a check doesn’t return exit code 0, it will create a file at /tmp/check-engine with the exit code and stdout as well as stderr.
Available as the check-engine package in the EasyGuard Alpine repository.
Error Displays
- The console will display a red flashing message “Check Engine!” and the details if there are any errors from the
.profilefile in the root user’s home directory. - The easyguard display will show the left part of the screen in red. Details are not displayed due to space constraints.
- 🔜 The web interface will show the error on the home page.
